We are committed to pursuing every great idea and delivering the best ice cream experience for our consumers, when and where they want it.</p> <p>Unleash your potential at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream and discover what a sweet career we have in store for you.</p> <p>Who we're looking for:</p> <p>DGIC is looking for a qualified OS&D specialist to handle the day-to-day exceptions of shipments from all sites within the USA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well planning and organization ability is necessary to perform the role effectively.</p> <p>What will make you successful in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Good Communication with stakeholders, including Warehouse Staff, Carriers, Customer Service representatives, and Quality Control teams. </li><li>Self-Motivated </li><li>Teamwork </li><li>Quality Orientation </li><li>Time Management </li><li>Adaptability/ Flexibility </li><li>Creative and Innovative Thinking </li><li>Planning and Organizing </li><li>Problem Solving </li></ul> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Manage high volume of OS&D claims and provide problem resolution for customers, & carriers </li><li>Prepare and submit claims into the service claim tracker (SCT). </li><li>Investigate reasons for refusals, overages, shortages, and damages. </li><li>Work with all carriers & branch plants as needed to resolve the issues. </li><li>Gather supporting documentation and upload it to SCT after the claim has been entered. </li><li>Work with the gathering of information and required documentation related to approved disposals. </li><li>Generate the SCT report daily to monitor and review the status of claims and follow up as necessary to close the claim with the target to have all claims moved out of OS&D within 10 business days of claim creation. </li><li>Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise. </li><li>All duties are extremely critical, time sensitive and requires an elevated level of diplomacy when dealing with high profile national customers </li><li>Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures by following the DGIC OS&D best practices. </li></ul> <p>Must Haves:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year experience in the Supply Chain industry preferred </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment </li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines </li><li>Good computer skills required, Excel and Word </li><li>JDE experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>In this position, the employee will regularly work with and around others; in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast paced.</p> <p>The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens.</p> <p>The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
