This position is Full-time at our hospice inpatient facility in Burlington (Hospice Home) with the following schedule; Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30am - 8:00pm.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>To provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides comfort/sensitivity to patient and caregiver's emotional concerns and needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Employee engagement activities and 403B match after 12 months of service.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions. </li><li>Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property. </li><li>Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.</p>
