<p>Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time.</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>Entry-Level (Foundational)</p> <p>Work Experience Description:</p> <p>Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Performs a variety of food preparation and service functions.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Sets up food service and kitchen area facilities, equipment and utensils, under detailed instruction and, in accordance with specific area needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the preparation of hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, beverages, salads, sandwiches, simple bakery items, salad dressings, and/or other similar food items, as appropriate to the position.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows prescribed procedures in setting up hot and cold food lines.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans, washes, and maintains sanitary work areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Interacts with customers to take orders, receive payments, and answer questions.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>All student employees who work at Food Services will receive a free meal for every shift worked.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>High School</p> <p>Work Experience</p> <p>No Experience</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Sometime uncomfortable or unpleasant kitchen working conditions.</p> <p>Base Rate Per Hour:</p> <p>14.50</p> <ul> <li>Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations </li><li>Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks </li></ul>
