<p>Job Details</p> <p>Are you service oriented and interested in working for an organization passionate about love and excellence? Do you have food service experience?</p> <p>We are seeking a Service Assistant I to work in our Cafeteria serving customers, sanitation, pot washing, food prep, and restocking.</p> <p>This is a part-time position working rotating shifts that include: 5:30am-2:00pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, and 11:15-7:45pm. Requires working every other weekend and holiday rotation.</p> <p>Must be able to work a combination of all shifts listed above.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Demonstrates patient/customer "comes first" attitude. Greets patients, visitors, customers, and co-workers with a smile and pleasant manner. Displays good customer service skills at all times.</p> <p>Demonstrates understanding and executes CCHS Core Values - Excellence and Love and Behaviors in Action. Must demonstrate teamwork and integrity in each task.</p> <p>Ensures foods are served and stored at proper temperatures.</p> <p>Demonstrates appropriate infection control procedures; maintains proper food temperatures, dates and labels food products, rotates stock, wears gloves and protective clothing as required.</p> <p>Demonstrates appropriate sanitation practices; uses chemicals according to intended use and portion amounts, follows proper pot washing and mopping procedures, maintains clean work area, removes trash in a timely manner, uses can liners, disposes cardboard boxes to appropriate disposal area.</p> <p>Complies with Christiana Care and department sanitation/safety responsibilities in the performance of all job assignments in accordance with Federal and State Health Codes, JCAHO and OSHA standards and requirements.</p> <p>Education and experience requirements:</p> <p>High school graduate or equivalent</p> <p>Two years food service experience preferred.</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>Delivering health, not just health care is our promise to our community.
