This role requires strong leadership skills to train and guide warehouse personnel, as well as analytical abilities to optimize inventory processes and forecasting. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Department Manager.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overages, optimizing stock availability for business needs. </li><li>Conduct and supervise regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to identify discrepancies and rectify miscalculations. </li><li>Assist and manage support staff in maintaining rolling stock to support operational efficiency. </li><li>Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates on inventory control best practices. </li><li>Implement and enforce procedures to enhance accuracy and accountability within the warehouse team. </li><li>Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to increase inventory management accuracy and operational efficiency. </li><li>Prepare and deliver weekly inventory status reports to leadership. </li><li>Identify inefficiencies and provide recommendations for process optimization to senior management. </li><li>Analyze and forecast inventory demand based on business needs, ensuring adequate stock levels. </li><li>Solicit bid proposals, evaluate vendors, and make informed sourcing decisions to optimize cost and quality. </li><li>Ensure timely preparation of parts and materials for upcoming jobs. </li><li>Oversee the organization and fulfillment of next-day orders to meet operational deadlines. </li><li>Uphold company policies, including quality, safety, and environmental guidelines. </li><li>Maintain a professional and customer-friendly demeanor in all interactions. </li><li>Adhere to company attendance and reliability expectations. </li><li>Operate in a constant state of alertness to ensure workplace safety. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management to contribute to the overall success of the Company. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications / Experience / Education:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. </li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems or other inventory management software. </li></ul> <p>Understanding of ISO processes and compliance requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in inventory management or supply chain preferred. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check before employment. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Corrigan is a large company that operates with a small feel.
