Provides nursing services and care coordination as outlined by the professional service agreement with the Waterloo Community Schools (WCSD). Delivers nursing care for patients and families and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health Waterloo within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, quality patient/family care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families. In conjunction with the Clinical Administrator II, plans, directs, facilitates, and evaluates school nursing services provided. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of accredited nursing program </li><li>One year nursing experience required. </li><li>Demonstrates clinical competence in working with pediatric patients and their families. </li><li>Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. </li><li>Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa </li><li>Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English. </li><li>Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browser. </li><li>Electronic medical record documentation </li></ul>
