The EHS Department is dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy setting for students, faculty, staff, contractors and visitors; preserving environmental compliance; and implementing sustainable practices.</p> <p>Position Profile</p> <p>The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for working with faculty and staff of the Art and Theater Departments to maintain regulatory compliance. They will be responding to EHS-related emergencies and serving as a member of the University's spill response team. They will be conducting inspections and will be developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Knowledge of and ability to apply pertinent federal and state laws and regulations. Experience in hazardous waste management. Knowledge of chemical properties and segregation techniques. Ability to use relevant computer programs.
