<p>Why do we need you ?</p> <p>The Solution Development Manager plays a critical role in supporting the growth strategy of Saint Gobain North America in Data Centers. This position is responsible for the development and commercialization of solutions that satisfy the needs of Data Center Customers, supporting the go-to-market strategy execution and contributing to the rapid growth of Saint Gobain's solutions adoption in Data Centers projects in North America. The role will require extensive collaboration across multiple functions and business units, as well as collaboration with the global Data Centers support team and similar roles in other Saint Gobain's regions.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, proactive in identifying unmet needs of critical stakeholders and decision makers that influence the adoption of materials and solutions in Data Centers buildings, enabling the creation of strong relationships in the Data Center ecosystem, including owners and hyperscalers, architects, developers, contractors, consultants and regulatory bodies.</p> <p>Is this job for you ?</p> <ul> <li>Market Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement </li><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the data center construction sector and guide product positioning. </li><li>Engage with key stakeholders (architects, contractors, data center operators, owners, hyperscalers, developers, consultants, and regulatory bodies) to gather feedback and strengthen customer relationships. </li><li>Define product strategy tailored to data center construction, in collaboration with the technical teams in Saint Gobain North America business units and aligning with industry trends and customer needs. </li><li>Provide the M&A function sector specific expertise to identify acquisition targets aiming at improving Saint Gobain North America offering to Data Centers </li></ul> <p>System Development and Technical Support</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with product management, R&D, and operations to make available to North America customers systems and solutions that meet data center building specifications and address identified performance requirements (e.g., cooling efficiency, fire resistance, sustainability). </li><li>Translate technical requirements into product specifications, ensuring compliance with data center standards (ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, LEED, etc.). </li><li>Develop business cases and ROI models for new product initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and pricing strategies. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to ensure compliance and successful launches. </li><li>Oversee product lifecycle management, from concept and launch to performance monitoring and end-of-life decisions. </li><li>Champion sustainability initiatives, ensuring materials support energy efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and regulatory compliance in data center builds. </li></ul> <p>Field Technical Support</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support to sales teams, including working collaboratively with marketing functions to develop sales tools, collateral, and delivering training. </li><li>Act as a Subject Matter Expert for data center solutions, coordinating technical documentation and thought leadership. </li><li>Act as a Subject Matter Expert for data center solutions. </li><li>Coordinate marketing and communications, including technical publications and thought leadership. </li></ul> <p>Project Management & Systems Development</p> <ul> <li>Manage the product portfolio, developing new products and rationalizing obsolete ones. </li><li>Lead new product development using methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Development, and Agile. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to ensure compliance and successful launches. </li><li>Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. </li></ul> <p>A little more about us</p> <p>Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $111,000 to $177,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $124,300 to $198,800.
