The coach will promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and the development of student-athletes both on and off the field. This includes planning practices, coaching games, ensuring student eligibility, and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Plan and lead practices, workouts, and games in alignment with school and WIAA guidelines.</p> <p>? Supervise student-athletes during all team activities.</p> <p>? Promote academic achievement and monitor student eligibility.</p> <p>? Maintain communication with parents, school staff, and administration.</p> <p>? Attend all parent meetings arranged by the district</p> <p>? Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members.</p> <p>? Maintain equipment and inventory.</p> <p>? Run a kids camp to build excitement in your program</p> <p>? Examines locker rooms before and after practice and games, checking on general cleanliness of facility</p> <p>? Responsible for the set up and tear down of of game day equipment and facilities</p> <p>? Instills in each player a respect for equipment and school property, its care and proper use</p> <p>? Assist athletic director in scheduling, providing transportation and requirements for regular season, tournaments or special sport events</p> <p>? Fundraising- includes concessions, gate, scoreboard and others</p> <p>? Through knowledge of all athletic polices approved by the Soap Lake School board and is responsible for their implementation by the entire staff of the sports program</p> <p>? Uphold and model high standards of conduct and sportsmanship.</p> <p>? Follow district, league, and WIAA rules and policies.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? Previous coaching experience</p> <p>? Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills</p> <p>? Knowledge of football rules, strategies, and safety practices.</p> <p>? Ability to lead, motivate, and relate to high school students.</p> <p>? Must meet WIAA and district coaching requirements (including First Aid/CPR, concussion training, etc.).</p> <p>?
