<p>Sewer, Water and Drain</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Operate a vehicle, including a Class B Truck to pick up supplies, and deliver to the department and job site as required </li><li>Keeping inventory and maintaining all stock and tools for the Sewer/Water/Drain department. </li><li>Provides instructions in the use and maintenance of all tools. </li><li>Must be able to assist crews to complete the task at hand if needed. </li><li>Obtains price quotes and specifications for equipment and stock needed, along with a basic understanding of the department's procurement procedures. </li><li>Authority would be equivalent to a Working Foreman/Craftsman. </li><li>Must be willing and available for overtime during emergency operations, including inclement weather emergencies such as snow & ice, and flooding events. </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver's License. </li><li>Minimum 3 years' experience with sewer, water and drain crews </li><li>This position requires presence five (5) days a week and during emergencies such as water main breaks, floods and sewer repairs. </li><li>Demonstrate a complete understanding of the crew's need of equipment and stock. </li><li>Basic computers skills preferred. </li></ul> <p>Application:</p> <p>To apply, please complete a City of Quincy Employment Application and follow the directions on the Job Postings Page.</p>
