<p>WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US</p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to manage a team covering the Asset Owners segment within the Americas business, reporting directly to the Head of the Americas. This position will be responsible for achieving ambitious revenue growth targets within their segment and will play a pivotal role in driving new business and expanding client relationships.</p> <p>This Managing Director position will lead a team of sales professionals, serving as a role model and source of inspiration for the organization. This leader will demonstrate exceptional sales acumen, leveraging over 15 years of senior business development, sales, and management experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the institutional investment market ecosystem and established relationships with C-level executives at buy-side organizations. Experience selling financial technology solutions is essential. As a senior leader, you will be expected to bring insights from your segment and contribute to the day-to-day running of the business in the Americas, as well as support the broader company growth strategy.</p> <p>The business is structured by industry segments inclusive of Asset Management, Pensions, Insurance, and Canada.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR</p> <p>As MD of Sales, you will role model SimCorp leadership behaviors and inspire others to do the same:</p> <ul> <li>Formulate a clear commercial vision and purpose for the Asset Owners segment </li><li>Drive top-line new business sales, utilizing your network and leadership expertise </li><li>Drive a team-centric winning culture </li><li>Foster a supportive, growth-oriented environment by coaching and mentoring team members; act as a culture carrier who models company values and intentionally builds the next generation of leaders through ongoing development and empowerment </li><li>Be a member of the Americas Commercial Leadership Team (ACLT) </li><li>Be a player-coach across a book of sophisticated business opportunities </li><li>Create best practices across your team with the Lead Generation, Client Success, and Solutions Engineering teams </li><li>Promote execution excellence and accountability towards agreed goals </li><li>Demonstrate courage by taking calculated risks and learning from mistakes </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE VALUE</p> <p>We expect you to have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing complex customer situations and projects at a senior level, including owning relationships with C-suite executives </li><li>Proven ability to lead in matrix structures and multicultural environments </li><li>Proven track record of cultivating talent through targeted coaching and support, strengthening leadership across the team </li><li>Extensive background in consultative solution selling and commercial management </li><li>Track record of delivering sustainable growth through innovative models and showing accountability towards agreed goals </li><li>Success in growing businesses, acquiring new customers, and establishing long-term client relationships </li><li>Well-networked in the Financial Services market, with a demonstrated ability to generate leads and identify opportunities </li><li>In-depth knowledge of the IT services industry and market dynamics, especially on the buy-side </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>SimCorp offers several benefits that might play a significant factor in considering whether to accept a job offer. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
