If an accommodation is required for you to participate in the application process because of a disability, please contact Tekia Jefferson at 612-726-8196 or Tekia.Jefferson@mspmac.org.</p> <p>MAC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, age, nationality, or disability.</p> <p>RELATIONSHIPS</p> <p>Supervisory - Reports to Assistant Director of Airport Systems, Information Technology Department</p> <p>Organizational - Frequent contact with all MAC staff in Airside, Landside, Terminal Ops, Ops Optimization and IT</p> <p>External Business - Frequent contact with vendors and consultants, and airline staff</p> <p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Assess the effectiveness of business systems by interviewing users, analyzing workflows, defining solution objectives, and evaluating system functionality </li><li>Identify service gaps and measure the impact of proposed solutions on business operations </li><li>Provide software and hardware recommendations based on industry best practices, analysis of business needs, and emerging technologies </li><li>Configure, test, and set up applications to align with evolving business requirements </li><li>Monitor the lifecycle of business system changes and produce detailed reports for management as needed </li><li>Provide Level 2 support for critical airport systems, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed </li><li>Assist in providing system backup and restore procedures </li><li>Assist in ensuring vulnerability patching of key systems, with a focus on minimizing impact to 24/7 operations </li><li>Assist in creating and maintaining system documentation </li><li>Assist in providing analytics on system usage and resources </li><li>Maintain ongoing expertise in airport systems software through continuous learning and serve as a subject matter expert </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Senior Level Individual Contributor (SRIC) Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Customer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions </li><li>Manages Complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems </li><li>Decision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward </li><li>Resourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently </li><li>Ensures Accountability - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances </li><li>Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives </li><li>Values Differences -Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization </li><li>Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of unique needs of different audiences </li><li>Persuades - Using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others </li><li>Courage - Stepping up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said </li><li>Instills Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity </li><li>Being Resilient - Rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Airport Management, or equivalent experience </li><li>Five years supporting enterprise class applications </li><li>In lieu of a degree, nine years of experience supporting enterprise class applications or other combination of education and relevant experience. </li><li>Solid interpersonal skills, technically curious and self-motivated </li></ul> <p>DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Experience with the operation and functionality of Airside and airfield operations, parking and commercial vehicle operations, airport terminal operations, public address, digital displays, and common use airport system </li><li>Knowledge of CFR Part 139, airport and airline operations </li><li>Experience writing technical documentation </li><li>Excellent customer service skills with strong troubleshooting, research, and analysis skills. </li><li>Ability to understand and communicate technical information to the end users in an easily understood manner </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute between job sites </li></ul> <p>This position provides an opportunity for on-site and remote work. MAC's remote work policy requires employees to be on-site three days of the week. Among the three on-site days, one of them must be either a Monday or a Friday and on Tuesdays, all employees are required to be onsite. </p>
