<p>Job Title: Permitting Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking Permitting Technicians to join our power distribution team in Tampa. This role involves working within the permitting group to support power distribution design and engineering for major power utility clients.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. </li><li>Produce client deliverables such as permit research packages or permit packages, using AutoCAD and other software. </li><li>Perform quality assurance activities, such as proofing data collection and research reports. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with roadway/MOT permitting. </li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD version 2019 or more recent. </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment with peers, project managers, and field personnel. </li><li>Strong documentation and communication skills for interacting with clients and industry professionals. </li><li>Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, observational, and active listening skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with other software such as BOUD, MyWorld, SEDS, and CPA is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work is performed at the Riverview office, part of a 170-person power group in Florida, located between Maitland and Tampa. The Tampa office is a new 19,000 sqft space featuring a foosball table and shuffleboard, fostering a great environment with a positive leader and an engaged team.
