<p>Position: Janitor</p> <p>Work Schedule and Pay: <em>Full time position/ 1st shift:</em></p> <ul> <li>Sunday to Wednesday 4:30PM-3AM Pay: $17 p/h plus $1.00 shift differential and ($1.00 additional shift differential on Sundays ONLY) </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Medical Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>401K </li><li>Associate Referral Program </li></ul> <p>Our associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization!</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces</p> <p>Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable</p> <p>Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis</p> <p>Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of requirements</p> <p>Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc.</p> <p>Complete daily sanitation logs</p> <p>Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment</p> <p>Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties</p> <p>Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues</p> <p>Complies with all safety requirements</p> <p>Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor</p> <p>Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system</p> <p>Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>prior experience required </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required </li><li>Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required </li><li>Flexible to work overtime preferred </li><li>Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job </li><li>Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required </li><li>Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required </li><li>Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. </li><li>This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
