This role manages HR service workflows, assists with benefits-related processes, maintains accurate employee records, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Employee Support and Communication </li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and related matters via phone, email, and chat. </li><li>Provide Tier 1 support for benefits-related service tickets and general HR service requests. </li><li>Assist employees with inquiries regarding health, dental, life, and other related benefits. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Administration</p> <ul> <li>Maintain benefits-related records and ensure accurate payroll deductions. </li><li>Update employee addresses and other relevant data in benefits systems. </li><li>Support the preparation and execution of employee benefits meetings and incentive programs. </li><li>Distribute required employee notices and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. </li></ul> <p>HR Process Management</p> <ul> <li>Support onboarding and offboarding processes with a focus on benefits-related transitions. </li><li>Collaborate with HR team members and managers to resolve employee issues efficiently. </li><li>Prepare reports such as biweekly employee updates, new-hire reports, and absenteeism records. </li><li>Maintain and update organizational charts, phone directories, and related HR documents. </li></ul> <p>Data Management & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Maintain confidential and accurate employee records and databases. </li><li>Log and document employee interactions using the HR Service Management System. </li><li>Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations and labor laws. </li></ul> <p>Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline service delivery and improve employee experience. </li><li>Suggest improvements for process optimization and automation. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Education and Experience </li><li>High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in employee benefits administration or HR Service Delivery. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of employee benefits and employment laws. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong organizational and time management abilities. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Jira Service Management System, JJ Keller Leave Management system. . </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>In writing an ADA compliant job description, please work with your HRBP or TA Partner to complete a physical demands analysis using the associated ADA Compliant language guide and considering: </li><li>Purpose and Essential Functions </li><li>Physical / Sensory / Cognitive Needs </li><li>Critical Weights and Measures </li><li>Environment Exposures </li><li>Physical Expectations of the Role </li><li>Time Allocation / Frequency of Tasks </li></ul> <p>Location and Travel Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Onsite - 767 Warren Rd </li></ul> <p>Pay Range Disclosure:</p> <ul> <li>$51,091 per year </li></ul> <p>Cayuga Health System and its affiliates are committed to treating all patients, providers, staff and volunteers equitably and with dignity, ensuring the highest levels of safety, care and respect, and striving to recognize and overcome biases and policies that contribute to disparities in healthcare access, equitable care and positive health outcomes for all.</p> <p>We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, supporting the growth and health of our employees and community by embracing the rich diversity, needs and circumstances of all peoples and prioritizing opportunities to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.
