<p>Our 23-bed Medical-Surgical Unit is seeking a dedicated and flexible PRN Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical and postsurgical needs. This role is ideal for a skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a supportive, team-focused group of clinicians.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards. </li><li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across diverse diagnoses and acuity levels. </li><li>Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and wound care. </li><li>Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team. </li><li>Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the EMR. </li><li>Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge needs, and health management. </li><li>Respond effectively to rapid changes in patient condition and assist during emergencies. </li><li>Support unit flow, admissions, and discharges. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Active RN license in good standing. </li><li>Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred; Med-Surg experience strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. </li><li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities. </li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts based on unit needs </li></ul>
