If you are interested in a role that utilizes evidence-based behavior change practices and gender-responsive and trauma informed approaches to the re-entry setting, we would love to hear from you!</p> <p>The IMPACT Center and the MOORE Center are unique programs that focus on gender responsive and trauma informed practices for the re-entry experience of men returning to the Denver community after incarceration in the Department of Corrections and for men directly sentenced to the program.</p> <p>Successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety of patients, mentoring and coaching staff members, performing regulatory audits as mandated, and providing recommendations on policies and procedures.</p> <p>The Re-entry Services Supervisor position is within the Community Corrections Division (CCD), within the Department of Safety. The agency administers alternative to incarceration programs including pretrial services, in home detention and residential community corrections facilities. The CCD has a diverse and dedicated staff committed to enhancing public safety and working with the community and other criminal justice agencies.</p> <p>Our Program highly encourages candidates to apply who reflect the diversity of the participants in the program. Successful candidates must complete a background investigation that encompasses the applicant's employment and criminal history. We value diverse experiences, prior contact with the criminal legal system is not exclusionary for most applicants.</p> <p>IMPACT and the MOORE Center are residential re-entry facility and operates on a 24/7 basis, team members should expect to work non-traditional shifts and workday. Shifts include day shift (7A - 3P), swing shift (3P - 11P) and overnight shift (11P - 7A) and must be open to flexible scheduling.</p> <p>This team could potentially be at either:</p> <p>IMPACT Center</p> <p>10500 Smith Rd</p> <p>Denver, CO 80239</p> <p>or</p> <p>MOORE Center</p> <p>570 W. 44th Ave</p> <p>Denver, CO 80216</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred, but not a requirement)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in community corrections, re-entry or with people who are supervised by the criminal justice system.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge or understanding of principles, practices and technique of crisis intervention, conflict resolution and behavioral change Consistent attention to detail and the ability to multitask</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to working collaboratively within a team to ensure timely completion of work.</p> </li><li> <p>Motivated to work with participants in a gender responsive, trauma informed manner and ability to demonstrate a healthy working alliance with participants to assist them with behavior change and risk reduction</p> </li></ul> <p>Below are the minimum requirements used to determine eligibility for this position:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience in a directly related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Education and Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure & Certification: Ability to attain, or possession of Adult CPR, AED, Naloxone, and First Aid certifications after date of hire. Maintain continuing education hours annually or as required.
