<p>This position is responsible for driving the new business growth and success of our three major product lines: senior living management agreements, development opportunities, and Care Purchasing Services (a Group Purchasing Organization). This position requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful business strategies, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the senior living industry.</p> <p>This position reports to the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer</p> <p>This position oversees a Director, Business Development and a Business Development Specialist.</p> <p>The Role:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the senior living products industry. </li><li>Consistently achieves or exceeds annual new business revenue targets, driving sustainable growth and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. </li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to capitalize on market trends and achieve revenue targets </li><li>Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the senior living ecosystem, including senior living communities, healthcare providers, distributors, and other relevant entities. </li><li>Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial relationships. </li><li>Collaborate with Senior Living Operations, Development, and Care Purchasing Services teams to identify new product opportunities and enhancements to existing offerings. </li><li>Drive the expansion of the senior living product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of the senior living market. </li><li>Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive net revenue growth </li><li>Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and key accounts. </li><li>Provide strong leadership to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. </li><li>Responsible for the effective management and leadership of a team. This includes, but is not limited to: hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and managing performance, allocating compensation, effectively handling employee relations issues, managing terminations. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed. </li></ul> <p>Experience and Qualifications</p> <p>Required qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration a related field, or equivalent experience. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years related experience. </li><li>Formal experience leading a team. </li><li>Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and the ability to effectively present to stakeholders within and outside the organization. </li><li>Must have experience in strategy development and implementation with the ability to effectively influence and navigate complex organizations structures. </li><li>Excellent decision making and problem solving skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across the organization. </li><li>Competency working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint. </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with the Senior Living Industry, Development function, and/or Group Purchasing Organizations. </li><li>Competency with Salesforce software. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Ability to effectively represent the organization to outside stakeholders. </li><li>Excellent strategic agility and the ability to establish and implement effective strategies across and organization. </li><li>Excellent decision making and problem solving skills </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Strong strategic planning skills. </li><li>Competency working with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint required. </li><li>Competency with Salesforce software preferred. </li></ul> <p>Why LCS?</p> <p>Industry leader.
