South Port Square is actively seeking a hospitality-driven professional to join our growing team!</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE:</p> <p>The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall planning and implementation of a varied activity program designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Activities Assistant:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with planning, coordinating activities: reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, special events, and one-to-one visits, as indicated. </li><li>Assists with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar and newsletter. </li><li>Assists with purchasing supplies for activities as needed. </li><li>Distributes mail daily to residents. </li><li>Performs and directs the movement of residents to and from recreational areas. </li><li>Announces scheduled activities over the intercom at least fifteen minutes prior to the activity. </li><li>Directs volunteer activities, enlists their support, and coordinates their efforts; provides training and supervision of volunteers. </li><li>Maintains accurate documentation of resident's activity attendance. </li><li>Plans and coordinates activities in the absence of the Activity Coordinator. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>High School degree required. </li><li>One year's experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting preferred. </li><li>Background in music, art, drama, and dance therapy preferred. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Work today, get paid tomorrow with DailyPay!
