You'll help design and implement a fast, scalable, and reliable foundation for the data that drives our investment management SAAS platform-supporting complex asset classes, global market coverage, and real-time insights. You'll also play a key role in modeling the intricate relationships and behaviors of the investment management domain, translating financial concepts into robust, extensible data systems. If the Ridgeline Way excites you, we'd love to meet you.</p> <p>You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.</p> <p>The impact you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to and learn Portfolio domain knowledge </li><li>Bring your design skills, and technical expertise to a team where design, product, and engineering collaborate closely </li><li>Be involved in the entire software development process, from requirements and design reviews to shipping code and observing how it lands with our customers. </li><li>Impact a developing tech stack based on AWS back-end services </li><li>Participate in the creation and construction of developer-based automation that leads to scalable, high-quality applications customers will depend on to run their businesses </li><li>Coach, mentor, and inspire teams of product engineers that are responsible for delivering high performing, secure enterprise applications </li><li>Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way </li><li>Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency </li></ul> <p>What we look for:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline </li><li>5+ years building web front-ends with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related tooling </li><li>Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud </li><li>Strong commitment to automated testing at all levels </li><li>Experience building scalable component libraries and design systems </li><li>Experience using AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT </li><li>Willingness to learn new technologies while developing expertise in a business domain </li><li>Ability to balance short-term deliverables with long-term vision </li><li>Clear communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills </li><li>Serious interest in having fun while solving meaningful problems </li></ul> <p>Bonus:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with investment or asset management applications </li><li>Experience building performant, enterprise-level web experiences at scale </li><li>Knowledge of Node.js </li><li>Knowledge of front-end build tooling in the React ecosystem (e.g., Webpack, ESBuild, bun) </li><li>Experience with agile development methodologies </li><li>Understanding of building back-end infrastructure using AWS offerings such as Lambda, S3, CDKTF </li><li>Knowledge of Docker-based container architecture </li><li>Background in design, economics, or finance </li></ul> <p>About Ridgeline</p> <p>Ridgeline is the first front-to-back system of record for investment managers.
