The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that support student well-being, academic success, and social-emotional development. This role serves as a critical liaison between students, families, school staff, and community partners to ensure that every student has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Qualifications What we expect of you. · Coordinate and manage student support services, including counseling, behavioral interventions, attendance, and family engagement. · Serve as a primary contact for student case management and work closely with counselors, social workers, and special education staff to develop intervention strategies. · Lead initiatives to improve student attendance, engagement, and school climate. · Monitor and evaluate student needs through data collection, stakeholder feedback, and academic/behavioral trends. · Facilitate student support team (SST) meetings and collaborate with teachers to develop and monitor student support plans. · Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines related to student services, including McKinney-Vento (homeless services), foster youth, and 504 plans. · Coordinate external partnerships and referrals for services including mental health, crisis response, housing, and healthcare. · Organize and lead professional development for staff around trauma-informed practices, behavioral supports, and equity in student services. · Communicate regularly with families to build trust and provide updates regarding student progress and available resources.
