During every interaction, we display three behaviors:</p> <ul> <li>Smile, display energy and open body language. </li><li>Proactively greet team members and guests, initiating interaction to provide service </li><li>Always use a positive parting remark to end the conversation </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Supervises, evaluates, assists and advises general ledger and accounts payable staff. </li><li>Oversees the monthly financial close process </li><li>Prepares and reviews journal entries, worksheets, reconciliations and other documentation to ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and are complete. </li><li>Prepares financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, statement of partners' capital and footnotes and other reports as assigned. </li><li>Prepares company projections as assigned. </li><li>Assists in the preparation of federal and state filings. </li><li>Assists with audits by both internal and external auditors. </li><li>Completes special projects and assists other accounting/finance staff as requested. </li><li>Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and provides outstanding guest service while performing assigned duties. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree in accounting or related field required. </li><li>Three or more years of general ledger work experience preferred. MBA/CPA are a plus. </li><li>Prior casino accounting experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to create detailed Excel spreadsheets. </li><li>Experience with Oracle accounting software is a plus. </li><li>Must have full comprehension of general ledger accounts, accrual basis accounting and reports, including balance sheets, income statement and statement of cash flow. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours as needed. </li></ul> <p>Physical and Mental Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to see; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. </li><li>Occasionally required to talk or hear. </li><li>Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor </li></ul>
