<p>BENEFIT SERVICES CONSULTANT</p> <p>As a Benefits Services Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping Hawaii's employees access and understand their health and welfare benefits. You'll consult with clients to design and deliver benefits plans that balance compliance, cost, and employee engagement-while also owning the accurate, timely processing of plan transactions. Whether you're guiding a client through a plan change, delivering a benefits education session, or troubleshooting a payroll deduction issue, your focus is the same: exceptional service, attention to detail, and a drive to make complex topics feel clear and manageable.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advise clients on benefit options, payroll deductions, and healthcare compliance to ensure best-fit plan designs and consistent execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Process enrollments, terminations, eligibility reviews, and COBRA within HRIS and payroll systems with 90%+ accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain strong, trust-based relationships as the primary benefits contact for assigned clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead benefits education sessions with clients to drive employee understanding and voluntary plan engagement.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively identify process improvements and trends to simplify client administration and enhance the employee experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations while partnering with internal teams and external vendors.</p> </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU BRING</p> <p>You're highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable guiding clients through complex decisions.
