<p>Actively looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC and plumbing system design</p> <p>Description</p> <ul> <li>Seeking a Assistant Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to support HVAC and plumbing system design. </li><li>Assist in the design and layout of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and institutional buildings </li><li>Perform basic engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and system selections under supervision </li><li>Develop construction documents including plans, schedules, and details using AutoCAD and/or Revit </li><li>Coordinate with senior engineers, architects, and other disciplines </li><li>Support field surveys, site visits, and existing conditions documentation </li><li>Assist with responses to RFIs, submittal reviews, and construction administration tasks </li><li>Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field </li><li>1-3 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design (internship or co-op experience considered) </li><li>Working knowledge of HVAC systems (air handling units, VAV systems, boilers, chillers, etc.) </li><li>Basic understanding of plumbing systems (domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas) </li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit </li><li>Knowledge of NYS and applicable mechanical/plumbing codes preferred </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oneida, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
