Resumes can be submitted to hr@adenacorporation.com</p> <p>AMC Masonry- Mason/ Bricklayer</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Bricklayer will construct, erect, install, and repair structures using brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials.</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Builds leads plum and levels at the proper height for coursing of units being used </li><li>Reads drawings and provides layout of walls, openings, embedded items, etc. </li><li>Establishes proper bond pattern for units being installed </li><li>Lays out and installs masonry grout and rebar per job requirements </li><li>Lays out and installs steel bearing plates </li><li>Calculates angles for rakes and cuts/installs masonry units to match </li><li>Installs masonry units to the line in a productive manner </li><li>Grinds out, chisels, or otherwise removes weathered, damaged or defective mortar joints and installs new mortar (tuckpointing) </li><li>Power washes finish masonry units clean by use of pressure washer and masonry cleaning detergent/acid </li><li>Rubs, scrapes, and patches finished masonry walls </li><li>Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>PM21</p> <p>AMC Masonry- Mason/ Bricklayer</p> <p>Desired Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform mason duties </li><li>10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment </li><li>Good eyesight with or without correction </li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects in a repetitive manner </li><li>Ability to work at heights without fear including work on scaffolding and ladders </li><li>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency </li><li>Ability to use equipment and tools safely </li><li>Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions </li><li>Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust </li><li>Ability to read building blueprints </li><li>Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from home </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li></ul> <p>PM21</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
