<p>Position Title: Forklift Operator Apps</p> <p>Position Type: Regular - Full-Time</p> <p>Grade: 4C</p> <p>Requisition ID: 41427</p> <p>Location: Plover, WI (Snacking/Appetizer Facility)</p> <p>Shift: Nights, 6pm-6am 2-2-3</p> <p>About the role</p> <p>McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Forklift Operator position at the Plover, WI plant. This role supports warehouse, production, and shipping operations by safely transporting materials, managing inventory, and ensuring product flow in compliance with safety, GMP, and company standards.</p> <p>What you'll be doing</p> <ul> <li>Operate forklifts to unload inbound shipments and transport ingredients, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility </li><li>Verify incoming loads, seals, and Bills of Lading (BOL); print labels and maintain accurate receiving and shipping documentation </li><li>Supply production and packing lines with required materials and move finished goods to storage freezers or trailers </li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy through proper rotation (FEFO), pallet tracking, quality callbacks, and system documentation </li><li>Promote workplace safety, maintain clean and orderly work areas, follow GMPs, and assist Production or Warehouse leadership as needed </li></ul> <p>What you'll need to be successful</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of forklift experience with a demonstrated record of safe operation; ability to earn forklift certification required </li><li>Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based operation in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Basic computer skills; SAP experience preferred for receiving, shipping, and pallet tracking </li><li>Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Willingness to cross-train, work 12-hour shifts and operate in cold environments </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged standing and sitting with frequent use of hands, bending, reaching, and grasping </li><li>Occasional walking, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling </li><li>Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment </li><li>Capability to lift, carry and handle materials up to approximately 50 lbs </li><li>Physical endurance for an active manufacturing and warehouse setting </li></ul> <p>Benefits of the role</p> <ul> <li>Paid Holidays and PTO </li><li>Health, vision, and dental insurance </li><li>401k with 6% employer match </li><li>Adoption and Infertility Assistance </li><li>Education Reimbursement Assistance and more </li></ul> <p>About McCain</p> <p>Click here to learn more about McCain and how we provide opportunities to make an impact that matters.</p> <p>Leadership principles</p> <p>At McCain, our leadership principles guide how we engage with customers, collaborate as a team, and achieve success.
