Utilize technical product line knowledge and apply problem-solving skills to assist customers and internal team members effectively.</p> <p>Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides technical support to the team and customers on product performance, best practices, technical information research, and troubleshooting.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains detailed records of technical support solutions provided and implemented, utilizing industry and product-related knowledge.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes and supplies historical product test data to address product issues and support customer requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares competitive analyses for the establishment and review of internal quality objectives.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, functionality, and usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides detailed information regarding special product usage and limitations for internal and external customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes engineering knowledge to update and improve product documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as requested or assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Nature and Scope</p> <ul> <li> <p>Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data.</p> </li><li> <p>Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.</p> </li><li> <p>Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.</p> </li><li> <p>Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or civil preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>1 to 3 years relevant technical experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of how to read design drawings, specifications, blueprints, technical plans, and models.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS).</p> </li><li> <p>Previous background in concrete construction preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you're looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
