We manifest this commitment through our innovative, strategic and collaborative efforts to develop leaders who believe in and lead others toward practicing civility, mutual respect, in our workplaces and society. </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum on a daily basis. </li><li>Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness. </li><li>Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supply inventories. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking. </li><li>Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance, behavior and participations. </li><li>Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and integrate this knowledge into daily instruction. </li><li>Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and instructional progress. </li><li>Model professionalism, reliability, and respect to contribute to a positive school culture. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5 years of experience in the field. </li><li>Prior teaching experience preferred. </li><li>Proficient written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, complete student evaluations, document student progress and email students and staff. </li><li>Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Active NJ State Board of Cosmetology Braiding or Cosmetologist-Hairstylist license. </li><li>Active NJ State Board of Cosmetology Teacher license, preferred. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>This position requires mobility throughout the campus. </li><li>Dexterity in working with computers is mandatory. </li><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while teaching in a classroom and lab settings. </li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and move Braiding-related equipment or training materials up to 50lbs. </li><li>Sufficient manual dexterity to operate hand tools and training equipment. </li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach when demonstrating skills may be required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Special Instructions for Applicants Published Salary Range $35 per hour Job Open Date 06/02/2026 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Job Category Temporary Application Types Accepted Main App - Applicant</p> <p>Supplemental Questions</p>
