No job is too small to tackle…and no team success is too small to celebrate.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Building Talent</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist management efforts to recruit and develop an engaged, sales-driven team</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure team members receive consistent coaching and growth opportunities and support career pathing</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct new hire onboarding training and development sessions</p> </li><li> <p>Support/assist in performance reviews and employee feedback sessions</p> </li><li> <p>Help resolve staff conflicts and drive workplace engagement and motivation within the store</p> </li></ul> <p>Building Service Standards</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise daily store operations to ensure service standards are met (& surpass expectations)</p> </li><li> <p>Seek and communication customer feedback regarding school and home use of products</p> </li><li> <p>Build a unique and lasting relationship with customers</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in developing and implementing customer service programs and recognition</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor staff interactions with customers and provide feedback</p> </li></ul> <p>Building Revenue and Operational Excellence</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to analyze sales data, inventory levels and market trends</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and inventory management</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in maximizing sales and store profitability while effectively managing controllable expenses</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain visual presentation of merchandise/signage and ensure store displays are aligned with sales goals</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain company expectations regarding retail policies and procedures, including store cleanliness and safety standards</p> </li><li> <p>Own development of employee schedules to ensure optimal staffing and communicate schedules effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Support sales initiatives, promotional activities, and the retail store's outreach programs to raise awareness and foster relationships that support Lakeshore's goals</p> </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills and Attributes</p> <ul> <li> <p>Passion for providing excellent customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Positive and proactive approach to management and working as a team</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and training skills</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional time management and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to demonstrate company standards and reinforce them with the entire team</p> </li><li> <p>Strong desire to recognize and reward achievements-big and small</p> </li><li> <p>Capacity to give regular and clear feedback to team</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism</p> </li><li> <p>Capacity to multitask to meet simultaneous demands</p> </li><li> <p>1-year related retail management experience</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of retail POS systems</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred experience with customer outreach and driving customer loyalty through brand awareness initiatives</p> </li></ul> <p>And here's our end of the bargain!</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation </li><li>Paid leave for new parents to support work/life balance and family bonding </li><li>Comprehensive medical/dental plan for full-time employees </li><li>401(k) retirement plan </li><li>Generous employee discount </li><li>Quarterly bonus program </li></ul> <p>At Lakeshore, we know our diversity makes us stronger, and when everyone feels included and valued, we all win.
