Patients can rely on the expertise of the healthcare professionals at this location for their primary healthcare needs.</p> <p>How you'll contribute</p> <p>A Medical Office Assistant who excels in this role:</p> <p>Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews provider orders prior to patient leaving the clinic.</p> </li><li> <p>Obtains informed consent for invasive procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedules referral appointments as necessary or as instructed by the provider.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains patient information in the computer system.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedules and registers patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains patient information on the computer system.</p> </li><li> <p>Post charges, completes paperwork, collects copays, deductibles and account balances.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the completion of "end of day balancing/closing" and deposit preparations for courier pickup.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why join us</p> <p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
