<p>Schedule</p> <p>PRN (As Needed)</p> <p>Hours: 4:00am - 1:00pm</p> <p>Pay Rate: $17.00/hr</p> <p>General Summary</p> <p>Delivers clean linens and returns soiled linens throughout the organization.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Completes laundry pick up and/or deliveries from off campus sites, clients, etc. to the laundry. </li><li>Completes a daily log. </li><li>Maintains vehicle, reporting the need for truck maintenance or repairs. </li><li>Prioritizes workload and organizes loads at beginning of shift. </li><li>Attends departmental/hospital in-services and education programs as needed without being constantly reminded. </li><li>Pleasantly participates in orientation and training of new courier employees. Makes them feel welcome and part of the team </li><li>Willingly helps all co-workers to ensure that all pick up and deliveries are completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Communicates to Laundry staff when dropping off and picking up linen. </li></ul> <p>Common Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards. </li><li>Maintains professional growth and development. </li><li>Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED Required </li></ul> <p>Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills required. Required and </li><li>Previous driving experience Required </li><li>Courier/driver experience Preferred </li></ul> <p>Driver's License Statement:</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.</p> <p>Courses and Training:</p> <ul> <li>Must meet Department of Transportation physical requirements - physical exam every two years. Upon Hire Required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Thinks critically </li><li>Utilizes sound judgment; promptly reports potential risks </li><li>Maintains state of art knowledge of area of specialty, healthcare trends and practice, and populations served </li><li>Maintains a level of computer literacy appropriate to their role </li><li>Meets and maintains current all unit specific and organizational skills/competencies, certifications/licensures, as required </li><li>Completes hospital-required reviews, e.g. HIPAA, safety, health screening, care concerns, and others as assigned </li><li>Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals </li></ul>
