<p>The City of Elgin is seeking a part-time Fieldhouse Attendant to supervise the public while they use the Fieldhouse as well as general supervision of the racquetball courts, lower level locker rooms, and track.</p> <ul> <li>Direct supervision of the Fieldhouse open activities </li><li>Conduct racquetball court and locker room checks every hour </li><li>Responsible for the set up/break down of equipment in the Fieldhouse: volley ball systems, soccer goals, and basketball goals </li><li>Keep accurate records/reports and complete all written/records as required </li><li>Maintain control and enforce all rules and regulations of the area and facility </li><li>Responsible for check out of equipment: basketballs, volleyballs, etc. and its return </li><li>Assist in set up of equipment in the Fieldhouse for programs, rentals and patrons </li><li>Report any problems, equipment failures or unsafe conditions to the Youth/Teen Supervisor </li><li>Maintain the gym office in an orderly fashion </li><li>Maintain a positive public image and attitude with good public relations  and customer service </li><li>Wear appropriate staff uniform </li><li>Abide by all City of Elgin rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Manual </li><li>Minimum age of 18 years </li><li>Knowledge of the facility, rules of the Fieldhouse and Centre </li><li>Ability to work pleasantly with patrons and fellow employees </li><li>CPR/First Aid certified within 3 months of employment </li></ul> <p>Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm; MUST BE AVAILABLE ON Weekends 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Approximately 10-19 hours per week.</p>
