Our tailored service offerings and world-class experts possess the flexibility and experience to uniquely address the specific business needs of our customers' laboratories.</p> <p>What You Will Do?</p> <ul> <li>Conduct on-site program replenishments and disbursements. </li><li>Perform stockroom duties including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other tasks as required by the customer. </li><li>Carry out laboratory services such as chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation, and delivery of direct shipment orders to end users. </li><li>Work within computer systems to access and follow standard operating procedures. </li><li>Proactively communicate any customer concerns or potential problems to the supervisor. </li><li>Effectively address customer concerns within established resolution timeframes. </li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. </li><li>Analyze, maintain, and reconcile various customer and company reports to ensure collaborator requirements are met. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with a diverse cross-functional team. </li><li>Embrace and apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies. </li></ul> <p>How will you get here?</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>0-1 year of experience in a laboratory setting preferred. </li><li>Experience in customer service is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. </li><li>Strong communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, including maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions and upholding Thermo Fisher Scientific's values. </li><li>Strong customer service orientation with the interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various levels of personnel at the customer site. </li><li>Proficient in operating handheld scanners for data entry into various systems, and possessing analytical skills to reconcile reports. </li><li>Demonstrates computer proficiency and basic skills in the Microsoft Office suite. Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines as required. </li><li>Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of various work environments, working safely and following all policies and procedures. </li><li>Effective customer interface communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements / Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Primarily works at customer sites, which may require independent work at these locations. Work areas may include environments where chemical-based allergens are present (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.). </li><li>Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn. This includes lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, safety gloves, steel-toe shoes (required for all colleagues), bump hats, and/or safety glasses. </li><li>Regularly required to lift 30-40 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Regular use of equipment including pushcarts, pallet jacks, mobile cylinders, forklifts, etc. to push/pull up to 100 lbs. </li><li>Regularly required to stand, walk, and perform manual material handling tasks (twisting, bending, reaching, lifting, etc.) for prolonged periods. </li><li>Ability to work in environments with varied temperatures (e.g., cold rooms, outdoor areas). </li><li>Must be able to work overtime or independently, as needed. </li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer competitive remuneration, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
