Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience, including meaningful work, a dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development, and more.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Opportunity:</p> <ul> <li>Provide process improvement solutions to improve performance, identify opportunities, and reduce costs. </li><li>Build relationships with internal and external customers. </li><li>Work on projects that significantly impact the business, including inventory management, supplier agreements, visual dashboards, project management, and more. </li><li>Apply classroom concepts and skills to real-world business challenges. </li><li>Learn and become a Superuser of the business intelligence (BI) tool Qlik Sense and create data visualizations that support the Demand and Supply Planners' monthly S&OP planning activities. </li><li>Create and publish basic Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports and analytical tools within Qlik Sense to track and report out metrics for business leadership. </li><li>Lead a small project of a cross-functional Operations team to create a rough cut capacity planning (RCCP) view of a plant's asset capabilities versus demand requirements to identify supply constraints. </li><li>While 30% of each day will be spent reporting and reviewing daily/weekly activity, 70% will be strongly focused on projects and key initiatives that drive our procurement process forward. </li><li>Providing key data for internal and external customers to reduce costs. </li><li>Work safely, effectively, and efficiently to maintain high professional and ethical standards in all business transactions. </li><li>Work effectively with business partners cross-functionally. </li><li>Identify opportunities to develop sustainable solutions continuously. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field </li><li>Minimum GPA-3.0. </li><li>An analytical skillset is required. </li><li>Eager to learn and grow technical and business skills, including Microsoft suite, Oracle, SQL, and more. </li><li>Internship or work experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills </li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making </li><li>Collaboration and teamwork </li><li>Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once </li><li>Desire to make a substantial contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing their readiness for a full-time career </li></ul> <p>Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work the incumbent performs.
