If you're eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step.</p> <p>The Receiver inspects incoming products for damage and ensures the blocks and tiers are correct and accurately counted.</p> <p>You will work from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday; some overtime is required.</p> <p>Pay rate: $18.00/hour.</p> <p>Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches.</p> <p>All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Count and sort incoming merchandise to verify receipt of items against shipping manifest or purchase order. </li><li>Key and/or post quantity received of all merchandise into RF gun or computer system. </li><li>Check quantity and quality of merchandise received for conformity to purchase order specifications. </li><li>Identify, report, and refuse damaged merchandise. </li><li>Label merchandise using proper labeling equipment. </li><li>Physically counts inventory items to verify accuracy on a regular basis. </li><li>Stock shelves, racks and bins with new or transferred merchandise. </li><li>Restack merchandise on pallets for proper storage. </li><li>Unpack merchandise for proper storage. </li><li>Use Forklift to store product 20-30 ft into racks </li><li>Return and stock merchandise in elevated heights </li><li>Follow procedures for auto and/or manual put away accurately. </li><li>Report locations that are full, incorrectly sized, etc </li><li>Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues. </li><li>Maintain valid OSHA, EPA, and DOT certifications if required. </li><li>Follow warehouse safety and housekeeping procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>You have:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Ability to pull 2200 lbs using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs using a two-wheeler. </li><li>Ability to operate ERP system. </li><li>Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise. </li><li>Ability to convert measurements. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to multi-task. </li><li>Ability to work at elevated heights up to 30ft. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs. </li><li>Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as cherry picker, forklift and pallet jack </li></ul> <p>We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally.
