<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Sets up daily laboratory skill station with supplies and equipment </li><li>Utilizes equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results </li><li>Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking and reporting stock to determine inventory level to the laboratory manager </li><li>Maintains continuity among nursing faculty, laboratory manager, and students by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs </li><li>Maintains a safe and clean laboratory environment by complying with procedures, processes, and rules </li><li>Attends educational workshops, planning sessions, and end of semester laboratory evaluation sessions as needed </li><li>Maintains a cooperative relationship among nursing faculty and laboratory manager by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods </li><li>Performs other duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of WI required </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing required </li><li>Employed in a health care setting as a registered nursing with a minimum of one (1) year of direct care experience as a practicing nurse and employment as a registered nurse with direct patience care within the last five (5) years </li><li>Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission. </li></ul> <p>Human Relations Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type. </li></ul> <p>Please submit a cover letter and resume for this position along with this electronic application.</p> <p>Carroll University makes employment opportunities available to qualified individuals whose skills and experience make them suitable candidates for placement.
