Performs trades related duties to accomplish facilities/equipment preventive maintenance, installations, construction and renovation tasks. May work in a crew or independently.</p> <p>Salary commensurate with qualifications.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <p>Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.</p> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <p>Knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance of buildings. Maintains equipment used in all parts of job. Works through work order system to complete orders as assigned.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty</p> <p>Trouble shoot and performs minor repairs on appliances, such as washer/dryer, kitchen appliances. Replaces as necessary. Repairs plumbing as needed. Includes toilets, shower heads and kitchen fixtures.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty</p> <p>Performs routine cleaning of breezeways and entrances, including removing debris of exterior hallways, entrances and stairways.
