Performs trades related duties to accomplish facilities/equipment preventive maintenance, installations, construction and renovation tasks. May work in a crew or independently.</p> <p>Salary commensurate with qualifications.</p> <p>Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience</p> <p>Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.</p> <p>Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</p> <p>Knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance of buildings. Works through work order system to complete orders as assigned.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty</p> <p>Trouble shoot and performs minor repairs on appliances, such as washer/dryer, kitchen appliances. Replaces as necessary. Repairs plumbing as needed. Includes toilets, shower heads and kitchen fixtures.</p> <p>Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty</p> <p>Performs routine cleaning of breezeways and entrances, including removing debris of exterior hallways, entrances and stairways. Blow leaves from areas.
