This position will be full-time and onsite in Arden, NC. This is 2nd shift - 3pm-11:30pm.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Polish and test fiber optic cables</p> </li><li> <p>Assemble and package fiber optic connector components</p> </li><li> <p>Terminate single and multi-fiber cables</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect own work using quality standards and work instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct tests as needed for particular operations</p> </li><li> <p>Measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect product to print</p> </li><li> <p>Complete necessary operational paperwork to maintain the traceability of product</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain general housekeeping of work area</p> </li><li> <p>Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies</p> </li><li> <p>Follow safety guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all other work-related duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Read and perform tasks according to drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Recognize common fiber connectors</p> </li><li> <p>Apply knowledge of cleaning methods and contamination assessment for optical assembly</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to remain in stationary position 75% of the time</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to operate machinery</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to move between work zones</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in understanding written instructions in English language</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum one year manufacturing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with manufacturing fiber cables</p> </li><li> <p>SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading</p> </li><li> <p>Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Team-oriented with the ability to work cohesively with other employees</p> </li><li> <p>Credible and responsible for own work, respecting confidentiality</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor</p> </li><li> <p>Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to safely move materials weighing up to 50 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to operate machinery and move between work zones</p> </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodation statement</p> <p>If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.</p> <p>$19.37 per hour</p> <p>The pay range for this position is listed above.
