<p>We are conducting an internal/external search for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk on 1st shift for our Marathon City operations. Hours vary 5:00 am. 5:00p.m.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Report to the Warehouse Clerk Lead </li><li>Learn the functions of the Warehouse Clerk Lead </li><li>Assume the role of Warehouse Clerk Lead Back-up during Warehouse Clerk Lead absences </li><li>Organize loads to pre-stage and organize loads to ship </li><li>Organize inbound/outbound loads for other MCC locations (transfers) </li><li>Daily use of SAP (Data entry) </li><li>Daily use of Microsoft (Word, Excel) </li><li>Sign drivers in/out. Make appointment with carriers (DAS) </li><li>Compare order confirmations to shipping documents </li><li>Responsible for record keeping and accurately completing paperwork </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by a Lead or Supervisor </li><li>Willing to assist with training for the position when needed </li><li>Order and reconciliation of pallets </li><li>Review all paperwork for accuracy of documentation for audit purposes </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or schedule form </li><li>Very good interpersonal, organizational and written skills along with strong math skills </li><li>Detail oriented with the ability to multitask </li><li>Prior shipping/receiving experience a plus </li><li>Read and understand freight list, bill of lading, warehouse/office terminology & abbreviations </li><li>Ability to problem solve </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, other departments within the organization and the public both in person, by email and over the telephone </li><li>Must be dependable and have a certain degree of flexibility to work overtime and Saturday shifts when needed, and back-up other positions as required </li></ul>
