<p>Property Livability (Summer)</p> <p>As a key member of the Building Fair Futures team, you will help Sabin CDC maintain the 17 properties landscapes, including all general landscaping needs, with an emphasis on protecting local ecosystems by identifying and removing invasive plant species. This hands-on position focuses on environmental stewardship, community engagement, and education. You'll help restore native habitats while empowering residents to care for their environment. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.</p> <p>Member Duties : Green Space Maintenance (50%) Support the general upkeep of Sabin's green spaces and common outdoor areas. Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks, debris removal, and basic grounds maintenance Support adding placemaking elements. This may include garden beds, little free libraries, and art. Invasive Species Management (25%) Develop and implement site-specific invasive species removal plans. Documentation, Data Tracking & Reporting (10%)Document removal efforts and habitat restoration progress. Collect and analyze data (number of plants, properties with invasives, surrounding properties and their invasives, etc). Environmental Education & Community Engagement (10%) Create educational materials such as flyers, guides, and presentations for residents and community members.
