<p>Works in the Water Resources Division and assists the section manager in identifying and scheduling assignments and projects. Schedules, coordinates and supervises the work of one or more crews. Operates light and heavy equipment. Trains other employees in the operation of City equipment and in safe and efficient operations within the section. Responds to calls as needed after regular working hours. Assists in the supervision and evaluation of section personnel. Responsible for accurate completion of records and reports. Provides input on needs for equipment or supplies and assists in annual budget preparation. Responds to complaints from the public and performs other duties as assigned.Requires graduation from high school or equivalent and three years related experience. Must be certified with the Utah State DWQ as a Waste Water Treatment Grade IV Operator as regulated by the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. Experience in the operation of light and heavy equipment. Supervisory experience as a lead worker is preferred. Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques involved in waste water treatment system and maintenance. The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.$85,172.13 - $91,262.70 Annually.
