Career growth opportunities.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Performs mammography procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients and supports the hospital's objective of quality patient care.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Greets patients, introduces self, and checks patient identification.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews patient's script to insure that the appropriate exam is being performed.</p> </li><li> <p>Explains procedure and ensures the safety and comfort of patient.</p> </li><li> <p>Produces images and analysis images for interpretation to the Radiologist.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires knowledge of MQSA requirements and adheres to them.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs QA tests daily on equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains familiarity of computer system to complete orders and cancel exams as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Recalls patient's prior exam history as pertinent to exam.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure with other modalities.</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT</p> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Required:</p> <p>Minimum Experience: one year</p> <p>Desired: Experience with patient care in a radiology setting.
