<p>SALARY View Teachers Salary Scale</p> <p>Commensurate with certification and experience based on the Wicomico County Salary Scale for Teachers (Unit I). Includes employee benefits package</p> <p>Hours</p> <p>Full time 10-month position (190 contract days).</p> <p>Contract Unit: This position is part of the Unit I (Certificated) bargaining unit.</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Valid Maryland Professional Certificate required, Administrator I endorsement preferred or working toward an Administrator I endorsement.</p> <p>Must have three (3) years of successful teaching experience.</p> <p>Ability to interact positively with students, staff, and community.</p> <p>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Participate as a member of the administrative team and carry out the directives of the principal.</p> <p>Assist in the resolution of issues which interfere with students receiving the maximum benefit from the school's educational programs.</p> <p>Assist in protecting the health and welfare of all students.</p> <p>Plan and administer a program of effective student discipline under the direction of the principal.</p> <p>Coordinates and implements student related special programs as assigned by the principal.</p> <p>Assist principal in the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of student related school activities/events as well as extra-curricular activities that occur outside of the regular school day.</p> <p>Utilizes multiple data sources to improve student achievement, attendance and behavior.</p> <p>Other related duties as assigned.</p>
