<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered</p> <p>Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!</p> <p>CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) to our Bellevue Family Clinic located off of Hwy 370 & 36th St!</p> <p>Expectations:</p> <ul> <li>Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. </li><li>Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. </li><li>Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. </li><li>Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. </li><li>Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. </li><li>Cleans and sterilizes instruments. </li><li>Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. </li><li>Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. </li><li>Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. </li><li>Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of medical assisting program </li><li>Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>From primary to specialty care as well as walk-in and virtual services CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy.
