<p>Overview</p> <p>AmTrust Financial Services, a fast-growing commercial insurance company, is looking for a Director, FP&A, responsible for supporting the Claims organization. The right candidate will bring strong leadership and a balance of analytical abilities, creativity, and execution to the table.</p> <p>This position will report directly to the VP of Claims Strategic Planning & Analytics and will support the Claims organization by providing thoughtful reporting and analytics to communicate the progress of the organization and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage a team of analysts supporting our various lines of business and business functions across claims. This team is responsible for all Claims & Litigation expense management & oversight, continuous maintenance and monitoring of staffing models, budgeting & forecasting, and expense reporting & analysis. They provide valuable insight enabling data-driven decision making in all aspects of running the organization. </li><li>Build strong relationships with claims & litigation leaders to become a trusted partner who understands the business and can influence decisions </li><li>Partner with our Corporate FP&A and Controllers departments on company-wide deliverables and initiatives </li><li>Coordinate blending data from multiple sources for unified reporting and look to identify cross-functional opportunities to either simplify or improve current processes </li><li>Proficiency evaluating very large data sets with an ability to spot trends and present business insights to a variety of audiences </li><li>Create consolidated executive-level reporting </li><li>Support ad-hoc requests </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience </li><li>7-10 years financial or operational analytical experience </li><li>3+ years leadership experience </li><li>Experience with Office particularly Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint. </li><li>Experience using SQL with BI software suites </li><li>Prior experience in reporting and data visualization solutions, consulting, or business analysis </li><li>Ability to operate under limited supervision and play an active role in cross-functional work </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Property Casualty Insurance industry experience </li><li>Experience with financial reporting solutions, Oracle Cloud ERP, Hyperion </li></ul> <p>#LI-BL1</p> <p>#AmTrust</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>AmTrust Financial Services offers a competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
