Duties include simple to complex design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while working under guidance of Sr. Developer or Application Development Manager. Has some experience developing and designing small to large scale applications. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Software Engineer.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Construct and maintain custom Microsoft applications</p> </li><li> <p>Work directly with leads on large or complex software projects</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for creating work estimates, technical project plants, and implementation plans</p> </li><li> <p>Work collaboratively within an agile project team</p> </li><li> <p>May assist in research on emerging application development technology, products, and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Follow best practices and coding standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>3-5 years of experience in the field or equivalent combination of education and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Familiar with distributed architecture and relational databases</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing custom software</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates experience in IT concepts and practices</p> </li><li> <p>Understands the software development lifecycle and is familiar with more than one approach to software development.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment</p> </li><li> <p>Good communication skills with a customer support orientation</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Desire to develop in an agile environment</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with agile methodologies is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>C#</p> </li><li> <p>ASP.NET Web development</p> </li><li> <p>Win Form applications, WPF preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Develop database objects for MS SQL Server</p> </li><li> <p>Windows Communication Foundation or equivalent web service experience</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Software Design Patterns a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Automated Unit Testing a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with MS Team Foundation Server a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>College degree preferred; or a combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>Resurgent is an Equal Opportunity employer that is fueled by our diverse and inclusive work environment.
