<p>Piper Companies is seeking an Institutional Trust Officer to join a financial services organization in Wilmington, DE. This job is 3 days on-site, hybrid. The Institutional Trust Officer will also build and maintain relationships with recordkeepers, actuaries, financial advisors, and interested parties to facilitate obligations under the service agreement.</p> <p>Responsibilities of an Institutional Trust Officer include:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all aspects of trust administration, including quality checking of new account setup, annual reviews, and ongoing relationship management and accounts with governing documents </li><li>Become proficient in using the benefit payment processing system as well as assist with the distribution approval processes and maintain various excel worksheets for the trust administration department </li><li>Be knowledgeable in applying fiduciary and ERISA regulations and requirements </li><li>Meet with clients via telephone or in-person, and monitor fee schedules </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the Institutional Trust Officer include:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of Institutional or corporate trust experience </li><li>Demonstrate efficiency and flexibility in detailed transactional tasks and provide effective service to internal partners and external clients </li><li>Demonstrate efficiency and flexibility in detailed transactional tasks and provide effective service to internal partners and external clients </li><li>Understand various types of investments and strategies as well as interpret and apply policies and recommend changes </li><li>Effective communication, attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Experience in MS Office, particularly Excel </li><li>Bachelor's degree </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Institutional Trust Officer include:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $95,000-$140,000 </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave if required by law </li><li>Full-time, 3 days on-site in Wilmington, DE </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applicants on 2/9/2026.
