This role is instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational effectiveness, and supporting new product introductions to meet and exceed the evolving expectations of our customers.</p> <p>As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will champion a systems-based approach to critical quality processes aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards and the rigorous demands of the semiconductor industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain-to ensure quality across both new and existing product lines.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include deploying and leveraging key performance indicators to monitor, identify, and drive improvements at both the product and process levels. Reporting to the Director of Product Quality, this role offers broad engagement across quality operations and is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.</p> <p>If you are a change agent with a proven track record of implementing systems-based quality improvements in high-tech capital equipment manufacturing-and are energized by challenge and innovation-this opportunity may be the right fit for you.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Drive Strategic Quality Initiatives: Provide leadership in the development and deployment of key performance indicators to elevate field installation outcomes and reduce warranty claims. Leverage trend analysis to set strategic direction, champion data-driven problem-solving, and lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis to deliver sustainable, high-impact results </li><li>Champion Product Excellence: Lead quality assurance efforts for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal standards. Collaborate across product development, manufacturing, and supply chain functions to embed quality into every stage of the product lifecycle </li><li>Lead Quality Planning and Risk Mitigation: Spearhead the creation and execution of comprehensive quality plans for new products, incorporating robust risk management, quality control, and assurance strategies to ensure flawless product launches </li><li>Oversee Quality Governance: Direct quality reviews and assessments, including design reviews, process validations, and supplier audits. Ensure that all new products meet rigorous quality benchmarks through proactive oversight and leadership. </li><li>Resolve Critical Quality Challenges: Take ownership of complex quality issues, including non-conformities, customer complaints, and supplier-related concerns. Lead cross-functional teams with a collaborative and decisive approach to drive timely and effective resolutions. </li><li>Elevate Customer Satisfaction: Lead initiatives to address customer corrective action requests, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are implemented with urgency and precision to enhance customer trust and loyalty. </li><li>Ensure Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain quality systems aligned with ISO9001:2015 and semiconductor industry standards. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through internal audits, Six Sigma methodologies, and structured problem-solving. </li><li>Communicate with Executive Clarity: Deliver clear, concise, and impactful updates to senior leadership on top quality issues, performance metrics, customer satisfaction trends, and quality system health. </li><li>Optimize Warranty Performance: Provide strategic oversight to identify and mitigate warranty cost drivers, improving both financial performance and customer satisfaction. </li><li>Lead Enterprise-Wide Quality Initiatives: Extend leadership beyond site boundaries by supporting corporate quality improvement programs across multiple locations, reinforcing a unified standard of excellence. </li><li>Strengthen Supplier Partnerships: Forge strong relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers. Lead joint failure analysis efforts that translate into measurable performance improvements and enhanced customer experiences. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability Engineering or equivalent); or 6 years of related experience with a Master's degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability Engineering or equivalent).</p> <p>Capital equipment manufacturing experience, especially in the semiconductor industry, is highly preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Statistical Analysis Techniques and Quality Tools such as (Gauge R&R, Capability studies, SPC, FMEA, pFMEA, Fish-Bone Analysis, 8D problem solving, etc.). </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with a history of positive engagements with suppliers and customers. </li><li>Disciplined and effective problem solving, and influence skills proven through experience leading process and product improvement teams. </li><li>Experience with SAP quality and service modules is a plus. </li><li>Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred. </li><li>Ability to travel domestic & internationally approximately 10%. </li></ul> <p>The expected salary range for this position is $100,174 - $126,888, plus a bonus opportunity.
