<p>Full-Time | Salt Lake City, UT, US</p> <p>Major Drilling America is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and confident HR Manager to join our leadership team in Salt Lake City. This position plays a critical role in overseeing all HR functions and ensuring compliance across a multi-state workforce. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strategic mindset and the ability to work effectively with both management and front-line employees.</p> <p>This is an exempt, salaried position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage all day-to-day HR operations for the U.S. division. </li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements. </li><li>Oversee performance management processes, including coaching managers and supporting employee development. </li><li>Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities. </li><li>Administer benefit programs, including elections, changes, and compliance with governing regulations. </li><li>Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. </li><li>Coordinate training and employee development programs. </li><li>Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory requirements. </li><li>Oversee leave programs and ensure accurate recordkeeping. </li><li>Ensure accurate maintenance of employee data in HRIS systems. </li><li>Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development initiatives. </li><li>Other responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience required. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role preferred. </li><li>Mining or related industry experience preferred. </li><li>Experience managing HR functions across multiple states preferred. </li><li>Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. </li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>HRIS experience required (ADP, Dayforce, etc.). </li><li>System implementation preferred. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Professional certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR). </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx Coverage </li><li>Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account Options </li><li>401(k) Plan with Employer Match </li><li>Employer-Provided Life Insurance </li><li>Employer-Provided Disability Insurance </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Optional Accident and Critical Illness Plans </li><li>Optional Identity Theft/Legal Protection Plan </li><li>Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement</p> <p>Major Drilling America, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
