You"ll play a key role in evaluating supplier inputs, understanding manufacturing cost drivers, and providing insights that support sourcing, engineering, and finance teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain Should Cost models for key components and assemblies </li><li>Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing methods to identify cost drivers </li><li>Interpret technical drawings and part prints to support accurate cost assumptions </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Finance to validate and refine models </li><li>Present data-driven insights during supplier and internal discussions </li><li>Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and progress </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>BS degree in engineering or similar relevant field desired </li><li>5 or more years of experience with part cost estimation and should cost modeling </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and layouts </li><li>Strong analytical and communication skills </li><li>Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Background in manufacturing process engineering and quality engineering </li><li>Familiarity with GE Aviation systems, parts, or processes </li><li>Active or eligible for U.S. Security Clearance </li></ul> <p>Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
